Paolo Rocca was born in Milan in 1952 as the son of Techint leader Roberto Rocca and grandson of Agostino Rocca who founded Techint in 1945. He attended university in Milan and Harvard Business School in 1985. Rocca began working at Techint in 1985 after serving as an assistant to the Executive Director of the World Bank. He was appointed Executive VP of Siderca in 1990 and promoted to CEO of Tenaris and Techint in 2002.
