Alliance Resource Partners Acquires Royalty Interests From Dale Operating

Alliance Resource Partners announced in December 2018 an agreement to acquire the general partner interests of AllDale Minerals and AllDale Minerals II not already owned by Alliance subsidiary Cavalier Minerals. Alliance currently owns a 96% interest in Cavalier which owns 72% of AllDale. Upon closing, the company will own 100% of the general partner and 97% of the limited partner interest in AllDale which controls 42,000 net royalty acres in the Anadarko, Permian, Williston, and Appalachian Basins. Acquired acreage is concentrated in the SCOOP/STACK (48.5%), Delaware Basin (19.5%), Midland Basin (16.2%), Bakken (9.7%), and Appalachian Basin (6.1%). The acquisition cost is $175.96 million in cash, and the deal closed in January 2019.
