Vår Energi AS operates oil and gas fields with assets in Norway. Eni holds a controlling stake in the company.
Norsk Agip wast established in 1965. Rocksource was established in 1996, and Norsk Agip acquired Fortum Petroleum to form Eni Norge in 2003. HitecVision formed Core Energy in 2010 and Spike Exploration in 2012. Spike acquired Bridge Energy in 2013. HitecVision acquired Rocksource in 2015 and combined this with the Core and Spike holdings to form Point Resources. Point acquired ExxonMobil's producing Norwegian assets in 2017 and combined with Eni Norge in 2018 to form Vår Energi. Vår acquired ExxonMobil's non-operated Norwegian assets in 2019, and Torger Rød replaced Kristin Kragseth as CEO in June 2021.
