Tervita Corp. operates recycling, landfill, and water disposal facilities as well as reclamation units. Operations are divided between the Energy Services and Industrial Services divisions. Common shares are listed on the Toronto (TEV) exchange.
Concord Well Servicing was founded in 1979 by David Werklund and Gordon Vivian, and Canadian Crude Separators (CCS) was formed in 1984. HAZCO was founded in 1989 by Don Friesen and John Thompson. HAZCO acquired Beck Drilling & Environmental Services in 1995, AXIS in 2000, and ERE in 2001. CCS acquired Prodrill Fluid Technologies in 2002 and HAZCO in 2004. CCS and its affiliates are consolidated in 2012 to form Tervita.
