Background

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) invests in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate across a variety of industries. The company reports to the Council of Economic & Development Affairs (CEDA) for Saudi Arabia. The fund was established in 1971, and oversight was shifted to CEDA from the Ministry of Finance in 2015.
