Background

Castleton Commodities International LLC (CCI) operates exploration & production fields, pipelines, terminals, and power plants. Offices are located in Houston, Calgary, Shanghai, London, Geneva, and Singapore.

Louis Dreyfus formed an energy trading subsidiary in 1997, and Highbridge Capital acquired an equity interest in 2006 to form Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy (LDHE). In 2012, LDHE was acquired by an investor group led by Glenn Dubin and renamed Castleton Commodities. Morgan Stanley's oil trading business was acquired in 2015.
